ProjectTechnovate 2025: DYPU Tech Festival
Official website for Technovate 2025, DYPU's tech festival: filterable event listings, detailed event pages, registrations and galleries, opening on a Three.js landing scene. Event data is fetched from JSON on GitHub rather than baked into the build.
Overview
The official website for Technovate 2025, DYPU's tech festival. Visitors browse events by category, open detailed pages with rules, venue, date and team size, follow registration links and view event galleries, starting from a Three.js landing scene.
Event data lives as JSON in a GitHub repository that the site fetches at runtime, rather than being baked into the build. The site was built for search visibility and deployed on Vercel; I worked on the frontend and design in a team of four. The festival is over and the site is no longer online, but the source is on GitHub.

Stack
Challenges & Solutions
- One data model flexible enough for very different kinds of event.Typed every event with one flat interface: shared required fields plus an optional fee, prize pool, contacts and gallery, with the prize, contact and gallery blocks rendered only when an event has them.
- Updating events without rebuilding the site.Fetched the events JSON from the repository on GitHub at runtime instead of bundling it, so the team could update events by editing a single file.
